You're invited to an all-out presentation of Steve's soundworlds, live in Tucson Arizona, September 23rd 2006. We have booked an intimate, great-sounding concert hall to celebrate the release of KAIROS and PROOF POSITIVE. Like Steve's previous Tucson concerts over the past 15 years, it will be an event not to be missed. This is Steve's only concert planned this year!

The Berger Performing Arts Center, built in 1991, is a modern theatre mixing classic Southwestern architecture with state-of-the-art amenities including pristine acoustics, spacious seating, and excellent lines of sight throughout the house, making it one of the finest theatres in Tucson. The 496-seat Proscenium theater is located on the campus of the Arizona State Schools for the Deaf and the Blind at 1200 W. Speedway Blvd. The BPAC is centrally located just one block west of Interstate 10, on the north side of Speedway. Google Maps Yahoo Maps

Steve will be performing live with an evolving version of the KAIROS visual odyssey. Roger King will be presenting additional live visual creations and a surround-sound environment to complete the immersive transformation of the hall.
The KAIROS video is a dynamic flow of visual wonder worlds created by five master light, film, and digital artists in collaboration with Steve. Drawing from a spectrum of visual techniques -- luminous organic analog light forms, dramatic Earth cinematography, cell-like computer animation -- micro and macro worlds join in a mind-expanding symbiotic flow between sound and visuals. Creation of the visuals evolved alongside the music over several years.

We strongly suggest not waiting until the last moment for tickets, as last year's event sold-out in advance. General Admission tickets are $20 in advance, from our online store (or from Hear's Music in Tucson, 2508 Campbell Ave., 520-795-4494). All tickets are sold Will-Call: no tickets will be mailed, just show a photo ID at the door.
Advance ticket sales end September 22nd, or when sold-out. Tickets will be available at the door (starting at 3:00 pm) unless sold-out in advance.

Friends of the soundcurrent from around the country are planning on sharing this special experience. Tucson has the full range of hotels, motels, B&B's, campsites, and resorts. Check Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia, etc. for the best deals.
While in town, Steve highly recommends Café Poca Cosa for a taste of Sonoran cuisine. Note their new location on East Pennington.
