Steve Roach 1999 Fortuna 14163 (CD) Reviewed by Eclectic Earwig Reviews, Exposé, Insite: Atlanta's Entertainment Magazine, Muze, Outsight This double CD presents selected pieces from Steve Roach's large body of work on the Fortuna Records label. Carefully selected and sequenced by the artist himself, and remasterd by Roger King, Disc 1 presents the rhythmic-electro-tribal-trance side of his work in nearly chronological order, starting with "The Ritual Continues" from 1982 and winding down with a previously unreleased live montage from 1997.

Steve Roach 2004 Timeroom Editions 14 (CD) Reviewed by e|i magazine, Synthtopia, Wind and Wire With this 4th edition of the Lost Pieces series at hand, it's clear more than ever that these unique releases seem to have a curious way of taking on an interconnected life of their own. An undercurrent of congruency between the pieces is consistently apparent in these projects and in this release, even though the pieces were created over a longer span of time and under unique and seemingly disparate situations. As a starting point, I will draw from a large pool of unreleased and lost tracks. It's like shuffling through a large box of puzzle pieces looking for the shapes and colors from which to begin telling a particular story that I'm discovering along the way. It's very much a mosaic, formed out of the richness that each piece or soundworld passage holds on its own. From there the combined resonance of the pieces starts to take over and fully reveals itself as a whole. Making the outcome more than simply a collection of pieces, this kind of process results in a structure, theme, and sonic storyline that could not be arrived at through other routes traveled on a tighter timeframe with specific intentions. -- Steve Roach, November 2004

Timeroom Editions Collection 1 Steve Roach 2001 Timeroom Editions 7 (CD) This fine collection is an essential 71 minute flow of atmospheric soundscapes taken from the Timeroom Editions series, selected and sequenced for continuous playback. The combined presentation of PURE FLOW casts a new light on these tracks with the result feeling like a new long-form journey. An unreleased piece completes the specially-priced collection. Steve Roach 1995 Projekt R13 (CD) Reviewed by Muze A great collection of "lost" pieces that came shortly after the completion of a project, or from multi-artist samplers between 1988 and 1992. Steve's various styles from that time are presented here in a way that flows effortlessly from one space to the next. Another good introduction to Steve's music.

Steve Roach 2010 Timeroom Editions / Projekt PRO241 (CD) Reviewed by Exposé, Sequences, Synth Music Direct TRUTH & BEAUTY is a perfect blend of Steve's rich atmospheric and tribal ambient infused work. Originally released in March 1999 on Steve's own Timeroom Editions label, this album is now co-released by Timeroom and Projekt, at a nice price. This will be the first time the album is available in retail stores.
