The Delicate Forever
Hi-Res 24-bit 96 kHZ
2014 Projekt PRO305 (CD)
Steve Roach's new studio release THE DELICATE FOREVER presents a reverie of gentle and etheric ambient sound meditations that awaken complex and resonant states of emotional and psychological perspectives. The nuanced, minimal electronics interplay with a masterful use of musical space, breath, silence, and rich textural colors in a subtle dynamic flow. Nurturing the senses in inexplicable ways, these sound paintings become an evocative environment for activating a state of rarefied reflections.

The Desert Experience:
This release started as a collection of desert-themed tracks sequenced for summer road trips between Arizona and California, sometimes in dark of night cloaked from the heat, other trips in the broad searing rays of the Summer sun. Drawing from over three decades of desert music, this magical blend creates a set that places one directly into the dramatic and emotive, immersive Southwest landscapes.
Immersion Station III
Steve Roach, Eric Freeman
We are excited to announce the release of Immersion Station III for the iPhone, iPod and iPod touch. Immersion Station I and II have received rave reviews from users worldwide. On this third version of the infinite soundworld experience, users can create custom mixes with five ultra-immersive loops. Steve draws from a special selection of new sounds that takes the Immersion Station into a deeper realm of sonic suspension. This version is especially effective in Automation Mode, where the sources and silence intermingle into infinity.
At the Edge of Everything
2013 Timeroom Editions 28 (CD)
AT THE EDGE OF EVERYTHING documents a peak moment in Steve Roach's live concert odyssey in Europe over a ten-year span. Recorded at the E-Live festival in The Netherlands, 2000, it represents the zenith of that period in his deep organic / tribal ambient sound, fused with a vibrant core of trance grooves and sequencer passages, shamanic electronic and atmospheric soundworlds. The entire concert is taken to the next level with guests Vidna Obmana on fujara (overtone flute) and Jeffrey Fayman on frame drum. The interaction on "Apparition Collaboration" especially shows the spirit of riding the edge, with Steve on didgeridoo and Vidna Obmana on fujara in full bloom. AT THE EDGE OF EVERYTHING is volcanic in its expression of the power of sound and the spontaneous, focused energy drawn from the moment. Equally impressive is the dynamic serpentine set as it emerges from what feels like the near future. Truly music for the time of now, as we are at the edge of everything.

On SPIRAL MEDITATIONS, Steve Roach captures sacred geometry in motion. Seven shimmering, spiraling, gravity-defying musical mandalas create a kind of vibrancy and energy that feeds the senses in a way that only nuanced, emotion-filled sequencer-based music can. At the same time, an overall atmosphere of tranquility permeates the listening space as each spiral meditation unwinds into the elegant beauty of the next piece, revealing delicate lattice-like melodic and rhythmic strands woven into intricate patterns. Created in the Timeroom in 2013, this is music to invigorate the heart, mind, spirit -- and imagination.

Live in Tucson 2000
Steve Roach, Jorge Reyes
On May 27 2000, Steve Roach and Jorge Reyes presented their first-ever concert in North America at Tucson's Temple of Music and Art. Since 1991 they've presented their ground-breaking tribal ambient music worldwide from such exotic locations as a theater built into a volcanic cave in the Canary Islands, to a performance space built upon a field of volcanic rock surrounded by 60 massive stone columns in Mexico City, then to New Music festivals in Europe's concert halls and Medieval churches. Jorge, who passed away in 2009, consistently performed for massive audiences at the prehispanic temples and pyramids throughout Mexico, and those who were tuned to PBS television on New Year's 2000 saw his performance in the center of Mexico City bring in the new Millennium with a global broadcast.
2013 Projekt PRO289 (CD)
The evolving, inexplicable nature of Steve Roach's musical soundworld is fully realized on his new textural electronic/ambient release, FUTURE FLOWS. Within the eight tracks on this seventy-minute album, a renewing, contemplative mood emerges by way of the shifting interconnected sonic forms that emerge from a constant source somewhere in the near future.

Loren Nerell, Mark Seelig
2014 Projekt PRO299 (CD) – now shipping
Loren and Mark's electro-acoustic debut merges the ambient soundworlds of Southeast Asia, North & South America with the spiritual influences of Bali and India. One part droney soundscape, one part tribal deliberation, and one part ethnological exploration,TREE OF LIFE expands into a transformative experience. Loren's deep understanding of Balinese music, coupled with his expertise in sound engineering, effortlessly complements Mark's Bansuri flutes and harmonic overtone vocals and chants. Supported by Sarangi maestro Pankaj Mishra from India, and up-and-coming percussionist Max Link from Germany, the release follows up on ideas sparked during Loren and Mark's first time on stage together at the 2010 SoundQuest Fest in Tucson, Arizona.
