Not for the weak at heart. The four directions provide a symbolic symmetry to this extraordinary recording. The artists also combine recordings they made together within a labyrinth of caves in New Mexico, adding yet another ingredient to the broth.

Steve Roach 1995 Projekt R13 (CD) Reviewed by Muze A great collection of "lost" pieces that came shortly after the completion of a project, or from multi-artist samplers between 1988 and 1992. Steve's various styles from that time are presented here in a way that flows effortlessly from one space to the next. Another good introduction to Steve's music.
